Machine Quilting

Getting your quilts quilted couldn't be easier!

Too much time and money has been spent in making your quilt top to have it sitting around unquilted. By sending your quilt to me I can turn your unfinished works in progress into a quilted Treasure..

First of all there is no need to pin or baste your quilt, the only thing that I do ask, is that after you piece your backing together, you ensure that it is at least 4" larger than the quilt all the way around. This allows for take up while quilting..... just remember after doing all that hard work you wouldn't want to have to cut down those borders. Check out my "How To Prepare my Quilt for Quilting" Page.

There are 2 types of quilting that I offer

Edge to Edge Quilting:

This is where you choose a pattern and it is sewn across the quilt Starting at one edge and ending at the other edge.

Custom Quilting:

This is where I quilt the quilt to accent it's design. All work is done using a combination of different continuous patterns, blocks, feathers and fancy fillers that will enhance your quilt.

By visiting the Patterns page you will find a small example of some of the patterns available.

By visting the Pricing page you will get an understanding of the fee chargable.

Don't forget to visit the Gallery with lots of samples of how quilts can be finished.

But don't panic, if you are not too sure what to pick, I am more that happy to advise you on what would look great on  your quilt. Once you have decided to proceed please contact me and I will book you a spot.
